Canairy Industry: an air quality detection system

Origin of the Canairy

Canairy Industry Duo ModuleThe Canairy Industry gas detection system is the result of a development process designed for the specific needs in the industrial and agricultural sectors. The aim was to measure air quality in almost all circumstances and translate the registered values into usable data. We obtained long maintenance intervals of the existing detection systems and improved its lifespan.

Canairy Industry probesThe development process of the detection system required a high-quality research laboratory equipped with high-quality gas analysis equipment and an advanced air treatment test set-up. In collaboration with a leading laboratory, we have optimized the Canairy into a product that guarantees maximum performance and reliability.

Research laboratoryThanks to the extensive development efforts, we realized the current version of the Canairy Industrie detection system. Based on technology applied on a laboratory scale, we succeeded to develop a sensor that is practically in use and provides reliable data. One of its advantages is the long calibration interval and a technical lifespan of approximately 10 years, with minimal maintenance necessity and low investment costs. The Canairy Industry has a wide measurement range from ppm to ppt, ensuring accurate measurements in a wide range of applications.

The newly developed detection system "the Canairy industry" is the solution for monitoring the air quality in aggressive conditions using the embedded Detection Probe, Interface unit, and Duo Module.

Practical application

The Canairy Industry can measure all present Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and synthetically produced gases (including chemical warfare gases). Thanks to the broad spectrum sensitivity of the detection probe, the system provides a complete picture of the air quality.

This makes the Canairy Industry an extremely reliable and sensitive broad spectrum detection system. The system can be used in many sectors, e.g. the industrial, defence, agricultural and environmental safety sectors.

The Canairy Industry can be used for:
•      Signalling of unwanted and dangerous gas concentrations
•      Detecting safety risks in vehicles and a wide range of enclosed spaces
•      Providing intrusion protection and indoor environmental monitoring

Various applications include:
•      Process monitoring:
      o   Explosion monitoring (LEL detection),
      o   Presence verification,
      o   Emission monitoring and surveillance,
•      Filter efficiency assessment:
      o   Activated carbon filters,
      o   Chemical scrubbers,
      o   Ozone injection systems,
      o   Thermal oxidizers,
      o   Odor detection,
•      Process control:
o   Air quality and air‑condition monitoring,
      o   Ripening control,

The Canairy Industry enables automatic control of climate systems based on the data measured by its detection probe. This data can be continuously logged and digitized, providing real time insight into operational processes.

Thanks to the highly stable detection probe, the system is ideal for efficient online monitoring. Especially in processes that utilize molecular filtration technologies such as activated carbon, gas scrubbers, and other absorption techniques.

The Canairy Industry simultaneously measures gas concentrations in both the incoming air and the filtered exhaust air. The measurement signals, combined with integrated analytics and continuous monitoring, provide a complete picture of filter efficiency. As a result, the system can warn of deviations at an early stage and determine the optimal moment for activated carbon filter replacement. This helps prevent odor nuisance and reduces health risks.
