Why did we invent new detection system?
In an era, where automation and industrialization dominate, increasing emissions of polluting gases present a growing problem. These emissions pose significant risks not only for the environment but also to the human health. Taking measures to protect both your own staff and the environment is becoming increasingly complex and thus a challenge. With this new equipment, measuring air gas concentrations becomes reliable, and easy to use. And allows conformation to mandatory levels.
Why do we use the name Canairy?
The name Canairy was coined by the designer because of the previous work in the mines. In 1900 it was already known that carbon monoxide and methane were released during mining. The solution of these miners was to take a canary into the mines. When the bird fell off its perch, it was clear that there was a situation of air pollution and people were forced to evacuate quickly. As from now The Canairy Industry® will take over this function.
Currently, companies use a diversity of specific detectors to measure gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, and various other gases. But it is generally the mix of these gases that is a problem.

Allround detection system
The Canairy Industry® is a broad-spectrum gas detection system that monitors the concentration of gases.
Most detection systems are designed to measure specific gases and therefore lack the ability to simultaneously signal other common air components such as organic and inorganic components. These components, often called Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs for short), contribute to air pollution in the in and outdoor environment even at low concentrations. Excessive concentrations are common, not only in industrial environments, but also in working and living environments.
The effects of too high concentrations of VOCs are severe. Typical immediate symptoms are headache, irritation of the eyes and throat, and a fatigue feeling. Moreover, a longterm exposure to a surplus of VOCs can lead to serious health problems.
Canairy Industry® is a detection system that continuously measures and monitors air quality. Because we constantly monitor the amount of VOCs (harmful components) in the air, the level of air quality is now made visible. This makes the system ideally suited for monitoring all the air quality in ventilation- and exhaust systems.
